Robyn wins the Garden Route 300 and Jennie the Cape Town Cycle Tour MTB Challenge
This past weekend Robyn de Groot won all three stages of the Garden Route 300 on her way to sealing the overall title, fending off a strong challenge from Catherine Williamson (Bestmed). Rounding off the podium was Garmin's Yolandi du Toit.
Jennie took to the start of the Cape Town Cycle Tour MTB Challenge on Sunday and led from start to finish, never looking back. Carmen Buchacher came home in second with Nadia Visser taking third.
Wonder Women win Wines2Whales
Jennie Stenerhag and Robyn de Groot put on a determined fight in the FNB Wines2Whales held over three gruelling days from Lourensford Wine Estate to Hermanus to take home the overall win for Team Ascendis Health. The win did not come easy as the Team RECM Ladies, Ariane Kleinhans and Candice Neethling put on a tough fight right to the end.
De Groot bags Nissan Trailseeker finale
South African Marathon Champ, Robyn de Groot, capped off a dominating performance in the Nissan Gauteng Trailseeker Series by winning the final leg held in Cullinan. Her intentions were clear from the get go as she seized the lead early on and never let go. She crossed the line a comfortable winner, once again confirming herself as the diamond of the Nissan Trailseeker Series
A podium reward for Ascendis at Cape Pioneer Trek
It was a physically and mentally demanding week in the Karoo. Apart from the breathtaking scenery, the Cape Pioneer Trek did not fail to deliver on drama and pain.
Team Ascendis back in the lead at Cape Pioneer Trek
This third stage never fails to deliver when it comes to action and drama. Punctures and crashes galore in this technical stage saw the race lead change from Sasol Racing to Team Ascendis Health.
Testing second day at Cape Pioneer
The British-Swiss combo of Williamson and Suss put in a concerted effort on the second day of the Cape Pioneer Trek to take over the lead from Team Ascendis Health. Some smart racing saw them stick to bigger groups when the pressure was telling and they were able to use it to gain maximum advantage on stage 1 from Mossel Bay to George.
Ascendis Health dash to Diaz beach victory!
The Team Ascendis Health pairing of Robyn de Groot and Jennie Stenerhag made quick work of the 13km Cape Pioneer Prologue to bring home the win in Mossel Bay. The scene has now been set for a battle for overall honours over the next week of racing with Team Sasol Racing coming home in second and Team Fair Cape in third.
Lights, camera, action! "Team Ascendis Health, Take One!", "Team Ascendis Health, Take Two!"
Jennie Stenerhag signalled her return to South African racing at the third leg of the Western Cape Nissan Trailseeker series held in the Hemel & Aarde valley near Hermanus. The Team Ascendis Health Swedish Champ took charge from the get go in the blistery conditions and kept extending her lead over the rest of the challengers throughout the race to take a comfortable win.
Conquering from the Karoo to the coast
Robyn de Groot made it two from two when she won the Pennypinchers Karoo to Coast on Sunday.
She took an early lead ahead of Yolandi du Toit (Garmin) in the 100km race held from Uniondale to Knysna and kept it to the finish and to win the women's category for the second year in a row.
Jennie defends her Swedish Marathon Title & Robyn rules in Dullstroom
This past weekend saw Jennie Stenerhag retain her Swedish title at the Bergslagsoppet Marathon over 70km. Her success abroad bodes well for Team Ascendis Health when Jennie returns to races alongside Robyn the the last of the South African races for the 2015 season.

Carrying form from her recent win at Wines2Whales with Ascendis teammate, Robyn de Groot, Jennie Stenerhag produced a storming ride in a rematch from the week before in a tight battle with Candice Neethling.
